Bags of Belonging
This semester, Pieces with Purpose has partnered with the Washington Heights Y to create reusable tote bags for seniors. These bags are more than just practical—they’re a gesture of care and connection, helping recipients feel part of a larger community. Each bag includes small, thoughtful gifts such as hand lotion, pens, and a notepad for grocery lists and everyday reminders.
About Us
PWP utilizes the power of art and design to engage people in social causes and use the proceeds to help fund those causes directly. Each semester, we spotlight a different cause, organization or group. In collaboration with the recipient organization, PWP designs a product that meets a specific need of that group and engages the larger community in their cause.
